Debbie Welles

Debbie Welles is an experienced professional with a diverse background in public policy and community relations, currently serving as an Affiliate and Special Project Consultant at Meridian Institute since November 2017. At Meridian, Debbie specializes in uniting leaders from business, government, NGOs, and academia to address complex natural resource challenges. With a long-standing career in consulting, Debbie is the Principal of Public Interest Consulting since 2005, focusing on public policy initiatives and multi-jurisdictional challenges. Previous roles include Project Manager at Advanced Sciences, Inc., and the Western Governors' Association, and Consultant at the Environmental Protection Agency. Debbie holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver.
