Ruben Mercado

Ruben Mercado is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and operations management. Currently serving as the Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations at Fairstead since November 2022, Ruben also holds the position of Director of Infrastructure and IT Operations at LaserShip since April 2018. Prior to these roles, Ruben has contributed to Meridian Knowledge Solutions and VIP as the Director of Information Technology and Hosting Operations, as well as the Systems Operations Manager for IT/Hosting. Ruben's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at Guident Technologies and Cox Communications, where responsibilities encompassed architecture and oversight of enterprise systems, virtualization, and compliance. Additionally, Ruben managed the National Science Foundation's data center, emphasizing systems management and engineering.
