Les Scherle

Les Scherle is an experienced procurement manager currently overseeing the purchasing department at Meridian Manufacturing Inc. since August 2008. Responsibilities include managing invoice approvals, inventory control, product sourcing for new designs, conducting make-or-buy analyses, and developing supplier relationships while ensuring performance and quality standards are met. Prior to this role, Les served as the Procurement and Logistics Manager, leading a team responsible for purchasing and invoice accuracy. Les has a solid foundation in supply chain management, holding an SMT diploma from the Supply Chain Management Association, completed between 2013 and 2015, and a Grade 12 education from Earl Grey High School. Previous experience includes a position as Warehouse Manager at Westward Parts from September 1993 to August 2008.
