Darrell Hanks has over 30 years of work experience in engineering and automation roles. Darrell began their career at Abbott Laboratories as a Manufacturing Engineer in 1989 and then moved on to BD as a Senior Process Development Engineer and Senior R&D Engineer. In 1994, they joined Merit Medical Systems, Inc. as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer and later worked at Integ Inc. as a Senior Engineer and Project Manager. Darrell then took on the role of Principal Automation Engineer at Amira Medical before becoming an Associate Director of Device Commercialization at Nektar Therapeutics. Currently, they are the Director of Automation Engineering & Production Maintenance at Merit Medical Systems, Inc.
Darrell Hanks achieved a BSEET degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Magna Cum Laude honors from Weber State University.
