Praveen Amancherla

Praveen Amancherla is the Chief Technology Officer at Merit. Praveen was previously the Chief Technology Officer at Quisk, Inc. from March 2012 to October 2018. At Quisk, they quickly transformed it into a scalable cloud platform, built on micro-services architecture. Praveen also developed a fraud detection engine using Machine Learning. Praveen built a team sourced from their own network and scaled it to a world-class organization. Praveen deployed 3 distributed datacenters and AWS cloud infrastructures. Praveen Drove quarterly & yearly compliance with various industry security standards such as PCI. Praveen established metrics-heavy Agile processes with data-driven feedback loops. The new platform is successfully processing global transactions with 99.99% uptime, zero planned downtime, and capacity to handle 40+ million transactions/day. Praveen is a frequent speaker at conferences such as Mobile World Congress, Finovate and IBM Think. Prior to joining Quisk, they were the Chief Architect at Visa from November 2006 to March 2012.

Praveen Amancherla has a MS in Computer Science from Michigan State University and a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
