Jeremy Sirota

Jeremy Sirota is the CEO of Merlin since January 2020, guiding the organization in the digital music sector. Sirota also serves as a Board Member at Fencers Club, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting fencing across diverse communities. Previous experience includes a role as Mentor at Techstars for music startups from January 2017 to December 2022, and as Independent Label BD Lead at Facebook's Music BD & Partnerships Team from November 2017 to December 2019. Sirota’s extensive background in the music industry includes senior positions at Warner Music Group where responsibilities spanned business and legal affairs while leading major negotiations that generated significant revenue. Earlier legal experience was gained as an Associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP. Sirota holds a BA in Political Science / International Relations from the University of California, Berkeley, and a JD from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco.
