Ricardo A. Ortiz

Ricardo A. Ortiz has over 8 years of work experience. Ricardo A. began their career in 2012 as a Mentor of the Mathematics Assistance Center at IUPUI. In 2014, they were a Mechanical Engineering intern and Computer Programming Project for the Indoor Cooling Products Team at Carrier Corporation. Ricardo A. also participated in the Nissan Design Competition - Solve the Biggest Issue Facing Mankind in the 21st Century, where their team won a $10,000 prize. That same year, they were a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Lennox International and a System Design Engineering Intern at Rolls-Royce. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Simulations Software Engineer at General Dynamics Electric Boat. Most recently, they have been a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Merlin Labs since 2019.

Ricardo A. Ortiz attended Colegio Ponceno from 2009 to 2012, followed by Indiana University\u2013Purdue University Indianapolis from 2012 to 2017 where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering. Ricardo A. is currently enrolled in Georgia Institute of Technology, pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science.
