Prasenjit Dey

Prasenjit Dey began their work experience in 2000 as a Ph.D. student at EPFL. Prasenjit then joined Hewlett-Packard Laboratories in 2004 as a Research Scientist, later becoming a Senior Research Scientist from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, they joined IBM as a Senior Research Scientist and was promoted to Manager and Senior Research Scientist in 2017. Prasenjit subsequently became the Global Research Strategy Co-Lead from 2018 to 2020 and the Global Research Co-Lead for Future of Computing from 2020 to 2021. In 2021, they joined Merlyn Mind as the Senior Vice President (Innovation) and Head of Merlyn Mind India.

Prasenjit Dey obtained their M.Tech. degree in Signal Processing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in an unspecified year before 1998.

Prasenjit then pursued their Ph.D. at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1998 to 2004, specializing in Information Theory and Signal Processing.
