Rodd Halstead has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Rodd started their career in 1980 as a Software Engineer and Medical Research Technician at Harvard Medical School, where they focused on image processing, data acquisition, statistical analysis, and research.
Rodd then worked at Symbolics Inc as a Member of the Technical Staff from 1985 to 1988 before joining Lotus Development as a Senior Engineering Manager from 1988 to 1993. At Lotus, their role is unspecified.
From 1993 to 1996, Halstead served as a Senior Engineering Manager at OneSource Information Services, where they provided engineering direction for business news and financial filings publishing strategy.

Currently, they hold the role of Data Scientist at Datasite since 2017. Rodd'sresponsibilities include data science, software development, data analysis, visualization, and presentation as a member of the Datasite Product R&D organization.
Throughout their career, Halstead has demonstrated expertise in various technologies such as BLE, WiFi, location-based services, Python, R-Language, MS Excel, Oracle SQL, and Mongo DB/JSON data storage.
Rodd Halstead completed their high school education at Punahou School, from 1971 to 1975. Rodd then went on to study at Harvard University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1980.
