Ccue Ronald Ryel

Ronald Ryel, CCUE has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Ronald began their career in the United States Army Reserves, where they served as a Specialist from 1985 to 1993. Following their military service, Ryel worked as a PC Support professional at Worcester Public Schools in 1995.

In 2009, Ryel joined American Eagle Financial Credit Union as the Vice President of Information Technology. During their tenure, they provided leadership for the Information Technology department and oversaw various areas, including network infrastructure, data center operations, core processing, and help desk support services. Their responsibilities also included creating operational and strategic plans for technology resource management and developing policies and procedures for network resource management. Ryel held this position until 2019.

Ryel continued to progress in their career, taking on the role of Vice President of Information Technology at RTN FCU in 2021. Ronald was responsible for overseeing the organization's information technology functions until their departure in 2023.

In 2020, Ryel served as President at Seventure, Inc., and, most recently, they joined Merrimack Valley Credit Union as the Vice President of Information Security and CISO, starting in June 2023.

Later in their career, Ronald earned an MBA in Business Administration from Nichols College, graduating in 2005. In 2014, they attended the CUNA Management School and obtained a certification as a Certified Credit Union Executive, specializing in Credit Union Management. Prior to their higher education, Ronald also attended St. Mary's from 1972 to 1978, although specific degree or field of study information is not provided.
