Markus Ovaskainen

Markus Ovaskainen is a seasoned professional in the field of sales and engineering, currently serving as Sales Director at Merus Power since May 2017, where responsibilities include leading the sales organization and being an executive team member. Prior experience includes roles as Sales Manager for the Americas, Sales Engineer focusing on Latin American markets, and Research and Development Engineer working on a master’s thesis related to battery energy storage applications. Markus has also contributed as a Future Energy Leader at the World Energy Council in Finland, as well as holding various leadership positions, including Secretary of JCI Tammerkoski. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Power Electronics and Industrial Management from Tampere University of Technology.
