Mikko Marttala

Mikko Marttala is an accomplished finance and project development professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Director of Project Development and Finance at Merus Power since February 2022, Mikko focuses on developing Battery Energy Storage projects and delivering power quality solutions. Previously, Mikko held the position of CFO and Executive Vice President of Sales and Customer Finance at KPA Unicon from December 2011 to February 2022, contributing to the company's management team for a decade. Early career experiences include roles at Nordea as a Customer Relationship Manager in Emerging Markets and Team Leader for Corporate Actions in Custody Operations. Mikko earned a Master of Science in Infrastructure Investment and Finance from UCL and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from the University of Brighton.
