Diana Mittag has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over different companies and roles. Diana is currently an Associate Director of Translational Science at Merus N.V. since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Translational Scientist at the same company from September 2019 to February 2022.
Before joining Merus N.V., Diana worked at Acerta Pharma B.V. (A member of the AstraZeneca Group) as a Senior Research Scientist from July 2017 to July 2019, and as a Research Scientist from November 2014 to June 2017.
Diana has also worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Officer in Transfusion Science at The Australian Red Cross Blood Service from January 2012 to November 2013, and as a Post-Doctoral Research Officer in Human Dendritic Cells and Immune Regulation at Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research from July 2008 to December 2011.
In addition, Diana held the position of Post-Doctoral Research Officer in Regulatory T cells in Allergy at Monash University from March 2005 to June 2008. Their earliest work experience includes being a PhD student in Food Chemistry at UniversitätsSpital Zürich, Switzerland, and Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany from February 2002 to January 2006. Diana also had a PhD student internship at Novozymes from November 2003 to January 2004.
Before pursuing their PhD, Diana worked as a Masters student in Food Allergy at Paul-Ehrlich-Institut in 2001. Additionally, they have worked as a Research Assistant at TU Dresden and had a placement in Quality Control at Unilever in 1999.
Diana Mittag completed their Master of Food Chemistry degree at Technical University Dresden from 1996 to 2001, specializing in the field of Food Science.
