Yu-Ming Shen

Yu-Ming Shen has a diverse work experience in biostatistics and epidemiology. In 2007, they worked as a Scientific Researcher at Chang Gung University until 2010. Yu-Ming then joined Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München in 2012 as a Biostatistician/Epidemiologist and stayed there until 2016. Following that, they worked at Syneos Health as a Biostatistician from 2016 to 2018. From 2018 to 2022, Yu-Ming worked at Novartis, where they held the positions of Principal Biostatistician and Senior Principal Biostatistician. Currently, they are an Associate Director of Biostatistics at Merus N.V. starting from March 2022.

Yu-Ming Shen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, which was obtained from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, Yu-Ming Shen completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Epidemiology from the same university from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Yu-Ming Shen has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Occupational Therapy from Chang Gung University, obtained from 2002 to 2006. Yu-Ming Shen also has certifications as a Registered Occupational Therapist in Taiwan and as a SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9, although the specific institutions and dates of obtaining these certifications have not been provided.
