Tony Bryan

Tony Bryan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Tony currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer and Head of Engineering at Mesh, a role they began in February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology Officer of a stealth startup from August 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining the startup, Tony worked at Amazon from 2011 to 2021, where they held various positions such as Senior Software Development Manager and Software Development Manager. During their time at Amazon, they gained extensive experience in building high-performance software and leading engineering teams.

Tony also has experience in the healthcare sector, having worked at NHS Connecting for Health and Guy's and St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. At NHS Connecting for Health, they served as a Project Manager for the Summary Care Record program, working on software releases and improving delivery.

Additionally, Tony has previous experience as a Director at Bates-Bryan Consulting Limited and as an IT Management Consultant at Accenture. Tony has worked with notable clients such as Sainsburys, BT, and Shell, focusing on integration technologies and project/programme management.

Tony Bryan attended the University of Birmingham from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During their time at the university, they specialized in Mechanical Engineering and Intelligent Computer Aided Instruction. In 1997, they also had the opportunity to study at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as part of an exchange program. There, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree with a focus on Mechanical Engineering.
