Erin Doty

Erin Doty has over 20 years of professional experience in engineering, software development, and project management. Erin began their career in 1992 as an Electrical Design Engineer at Harris Corporation. In 1996, they moved to Barr Systems as a Systems Programmer, where they coded an SNA Trace Utility for monitoring PC to mainframe communications and implemented a print language converter DLL for data processing. In 1997, they joined Florical Systems as a Senior Software Engineer. Erin then moved to Manhattan Associates in 2000, where they held the same role. In 2003, Doty founded Doty Consulting, where they provided software development services and launched a property management website startup. In 2004, they joined the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office as a Software Manager, where they managed a team of software developers and wrote and supported custom web and client applications. In 2010, they co-founded First Coast Neurosciences, where they served as Managing Owner and Technology and Lean Process Architect. In 2019, they joined Daargon IoT as President and Chief Engineer, engineering development and marketing of IoT devices and cloud technologies. Most recently, in 2021, Doty joined Mesh Systems as a Solutions Architect.

Erin Doty has an education history that includes a Master's of Science in Computer Sciences from the University of Florida, which they obtained between 1994 and 1996, and a Bachelor's of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida, which they obtained between 1986 and 1991. Erin also has several certifications, including a Microsoft Azure IoT Professional from Microsoft obtained in June 2022, a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft obtained in June 2022, a Kaizen Lean Facilitator from the Jacksonville Lean Consortium obtained in January 2011, an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor - Quality Certification from Manhattan Associates obtained in January 2002, and an Advanced Kairos Leadership Training from Kairos Prison Ministry International, Inc. obtained in February 2019.
