Rob Krakora has a long and varied work experience in the software engineering field. Rob began their career in 1989 at Delco Electronics Corp. (now Delphi Electronics & Safety) as a Software Engineer, where they wrote software and designed hardware to implement functional tests for S. I. R. Rob also worked as an Advanced Manufacturing Test Engineer. In 1995, they joined Thomson Consumer Electronics as an Electrical Engineer (Software) and Software Engineer, where they worked on several DirecTv satellite set-top box programs. In 2007, they joined Delphi as a Software Engineer, where they worked with a third-party USB stack vendor to integrate MP3 player audio/video and database with advanced navigation automotive entertainment system. In 2008, they returned to MessageNet Systems, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on Linux-based mediaports. In 2011, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer at MessageNet Systems, Inc. and worked on Linux client/server and embedded systems utlizing Linux, multimedia programming on Linux, Windows and Mac OSX using GStreamer, and GUI application programming on Linux, Windows and Mac using WxWidgets. In 2015, they began working as a Contract Senior Software Engineer at Vendorpass, where they worked on NXP, Delphi, and AVINC projects. Rob also began working as a Software Engineer at Blue Pillar, Inc., where they worked on embedded Linux development, set up VSTS build environment on Linux server via Linux VSTS build agent, and selected USB pulse counter to be utilized by IoT cellular gateway. In 2019, they joined Mesh Systems as a Senior Embedded Engineer.
Rob Krakora attended Purdue University from 1985 to 1989 and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the School of Technology.
