Bashir Ahmad

Bashir Ahmad has extensive work experience in various roles within the finance industry. Bashir is currently serving as the Managing Director in Equity Management at Mesirow since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Director and Sector Head in Consumer at Concentric Capital Strategies, LP from 2020 to 2021. Bashir also worked as a Senior Analyst in Consumer Discretionary and Internet at Millennium from 2017 to 2019. Before that, they served as an Analyst at Cupps Capital Management from 2011 to 2016. Bashir also worked as Vice President in Private Equity/Mezzanine at CapitalSpring from 2008 to 2011. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Morgan Stanley as an Associate in Equity Capital Markets & Investment Banking from 2005 to 2007 and at JPMorgan as an Analyst in Mergers & Acquisitions from 1999 to 2002.

Bashir Ahmad received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College, where they majored in Biochemistry and Geology, with a minor in Economics. Later, they pursued an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
