John Weber has over 30 years of experience in transaction and finance, bringing a wealth of knowledge to their current role as Senior MD of Institutional Sales & Trading at Mesirow Financial. Previously, John worked as a commercial banker for large regional and multi-national banks, where they were actively involved in acquisition transactions. In their most recent role as Executive Director for a public/private partnership, John assisted minority-owned businesses in obtaining capital for growth. John is an At Large Director for the Chicago Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, and they are passionate about creating transactions that meet the goals of all parties involved. Through their experience in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, wholesale, retail, franchising, distribution, logistics, transportation, healthcare, and service, John has the unique ability to create value for individuals and business owners alike. John Weber attended James Whitcomb Riley High School in South Bend, IN, and Monroe Junior High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. John went on to earn a Master of Business Administration in Finance from The Ohio State University - The Max M. Fisher College of Business.
