Lavanya Batchu is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in mutual fund research and selection. Since August 2009, Lavanya has held multiple leadership roles at Mesirow, currently serving as Managing Director, with prior titles including Senior Vice President, Vice President, and Senior Consultant. Lavanya's career also includes significant positions at Morningstar from August 2003 to August 2009, where roles encompassed Investment Analyst/Project Manager and Implementation Manager – Client Services, as well as technical positions such as Senior Software Engineer at both mPower and COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS Inc. Lavanya's educational background features an MBA in Analytic Finance and Strategy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as well as an MS in Computer Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
