Adam Raegen

R&D Scientist/Engineer at MesoMat

Adam Raegen has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific and engineering fields since 2008. Adam began their career as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Freiburg's FRIAS in 2008, where they probed the effects of inherited non-equilibrium states in thin polymer films. Adam then moved on to a Consultant role at McMaster University in 2010. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Guelph, where they developed and implemented novel analysis techniques for Surface Plasmon Resonance Imaging and applied Atomic Force Microscopy, Langmuir-Blodgett, Ellipsometry, and Optical Microscopy to the study of biological samples. Adam then worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Grand Valley State University from 2014 to 2017. Most recently, they have been an R&D Scientist/Engineer at MesoMat since 2021.

Adam Raegen obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from McMaster University in 2009, after completing an M.Sc. in Physics from the same university in 2004. Adam obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics from Southern Oregon University in 2002.
