Zoltán Tarnai

Zoltán Tarnai is a seasoned professional in business development and sales, currently serving as the EU Sales Business Development lead at MET Group since October 2017. In this role, Zoltán oversees operations across Western and Eastern European sales divisions, focusing on building solutions in sales, market risk management, and digitalization, while managing relationships with top management and profit centers. Previous experience includes roles as Wholesale Expert and Junior Wholesale Expert at MET Hungary Ltd., where Zoltán managed numerous domestic and international energy accounts and negotiated wholesale gas deals. Additional expertise was gained as a Project Officer at UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network – Youth, and through various internships at the European Commission, Wizz Air, and U.S. Embassy Budapest. Zoltán holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in International Relations from Central European University and is currently enrolled in the Bard Globalization and International Affairs Program.
