Ajit Mathews

Ajit Mathews is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering for Meta AI, where Ajit founded the PyTorch AI Acceleration organization, focusing on advancing AI workloads across various domains, including Generative AI. Previously, Ajit was Corporate Vice President at AMD, establishing a Machine Learning Software Engineering Organization and overseeing a team of over 450 professionals. Ajit's earlier experience includes a tenure at Intel Corporation as Senior Director of Engineering, leading impactful strategies for machine learning and systems development, as well as holding director-level positions at Foxconn and Motorola, where Ajit contributed to product development and innovation. Ajit holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, an MS in Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University, and a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Bangalore University.
