Esteban Arcaute

Esteban Arcaute is a highly experienced professional in the field of Responsible AI, currently serving as the Technical Engineering Lead at Meta since July 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing the technical direction and research agenda for Responsible AI. Previously, Esteban held various senior leadership positions at Meta, including Senior Director of Responsible AI and Senior Director of Data Science and Data Engineering, contributing significantly to the development and execution of Meta's AI strategies. Esteban co-founded Women in Data Science (WiDS) Worldwide in 2015, enhancing the representation of women in data science globally. Additionally, Esteban has held key roles at Walmart Global Tech, Adchemy, and has academic experience as a Research Assistant at Stanford University. Esteban earned a Ph.D. in Computational and Mathematical Engineering from Stanford University, complemented by multiple advanced degrees in related fields.
