Sriram Sankar

Sriram Sankar is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as Director of Engineering at Meta since 2016, where responsibilities include building teams for Silicon Lifecycle processes that support AI applications. Prior to Meta, Sriram held the position of Senior Director at GoDaddy, overseeing Data Center and Server Engineering, encompassing areas such as server hardware design and critical facilities engineering. Earlier experience includes roles as a Data Center Architect and Hardware Engineer at Microsoft, contributing to data center architecture and performance characterization methodologies. Sriram's career began at DE Shaw India and the University of Virginia, where engagement included software development and energy efficiency research. Sriram holds a PhD and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
