Imran Aftab Rana

Imran Aftab Rana is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing and migrating Cyber Security platforms to cloud microservices architecture at MetaCompliance since September 2024. Previously, Imran worked at Verivox GmbH on a tariff comparison portal and at Blue Coding as a Technical Lead, where responsibilities included designing application architecture, conducting security audits, and setting up DevOps pipelines. Imran has also held significant roles at Strategic Systems International, where leadership and development of secure RESTful APIs were key responsibilities, and at Confiz, contributing to IIoT projects. Imran's foundation in software engineering began with early positions at Microsoft and Xamarin, complemented by degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology and Lancaster University.
