Roman Bohuk has a diverse work experience spanning several notable companies and roles. As a Co-Founder and current CEO of MetaCTF Inc., they are responsible for the strategic direction and management of the company. Roman also worked as a Developer and Penetration Testing Intern at Black Hills Information Security, a Digital Technology Intern at GE Digital, a Software and Web Developer at mindsensors.com, and a Cyber Security Course Writer at the MathScience Innovation Center. Additionally, they served as the Chair of ACM@UVA (Association for Computing Machinery) at the University of Virginia where they were also a Student Assistant at the Information Security Department.

Roman Bohuk attended Deep Run High School where they pursued Computer Science through the Center for Information Technology. Roman then attended the University of Virginia from 2017 to 2020, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Cybersecurity. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from various institutions, including FCC Amateur Radio Technician License, GIAC Security Essentials, Certified Associate in Project Management, Certified ScrumMaster, Registered Locksmith, GIAC Certified Incident Handler, and Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer. Roman is also in the process of obtaining an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.
