Maura Wilder

VP of Engineering at Metallicus

Maura Wilder has a comprehensive work experience spanning several roles and companies. Maura is currently the VP of Engineering at Metallicus since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Poloniex as the Vice President of Engineering from October 2021 to June 2022. Maura also held positions at Poloniex as a Senior Software Engineering Manager from December 2020 to October 2021, and as a Principal Software Engineer from December 2019 to December 2020. Before joining Poloniex, Maura worked at Circle as a Principal Software Engineer from March 2019 to December 2019.

Furthermore, Maura was the Co-Founder/Lead Architect at Development Partners from January 2017 to March 2019. In this role, they provided software engineering and architecture consulting, specializing in scalable cloud-based architectures. Maura worked closely with clients to achieve their visions in a quick and cost-effective manner.

Prior to that, Maura worked at DraftKings, Inc. as a Technologist/Engineering Lead from August 2012 to February 2017. At DraftKings, they were involved in all aspects of designing, architecting, building, deploying, and operating the leading daily fantasy sports site.

Maura's earlier experience includes roles at Teradata as an Application Architect from May 2007 to August 2012, at Interactive Factory as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2004 to May 2007, at RDW Group as a Software Engineer from 2004 to 2007, at Development Partners Software as the Co-Founder/President from January 1999 to June 2004, and at Intersolv as a Software Engineer from 1990 to 1994.

Throughout their career, Maura has demonstrated expertise in various technologies and platforms, including ASP.Net/MVC, web services, RabbitMQ, AWS, MySQL, React, Redux, jQuery, knockout, Java, PHP, and more. Maura has consistently contributed to the development and architecture of software solutions across different industries and organizations.

Maura Wilder's education history includes attending UMass Boston from 1997 to 1998, where they studied Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration. Maura also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UMass Boston, graduating in 1988. Additionally, Maura attended Harvard University Extension School to pursue Computer Science, but the duration of their enrollment is unknown. Furthermore, Maura has obtained additional certifications, including the Microsoft Professional Program in Data Science from Microsoft in October 2017 and the Microsoft Certified Professional - Azure from Microsoft in April 2012.
