Ian Benbow

Ian Benbow has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Ian is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Metalogic Inspection Services since January 2022. Previously, they worked at Weir Oil and Gas from November 2017 to January 2022, where they held roles as the North America District Controller and Finance Director for Canada. Prior to that, they worked at AutoCanada from December 2014 to November 2017, serving as the Director of Corporate Accounting and Reporting and Manager of Financial Reporting. Ian began their career at PwC in January 2008 and worked in various roles, including Manager, Senior Associate, and Senior Consultant.

Ian Benbow attended the CA School of Business from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a CA degree in Accounting. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2009, they studied at the University of Alberta and earned a BCom degree in Accounting. In terms of additional certifications, Ian obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in July 2017. Ian also obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) certification from CPA Alberta in July 2015, and the Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from CPA Alberta in May 2012.
