Farid Afzali

Farid Afzali is an accomplished mining professional with extensive experience in various engineering roles within the mining sector. Currently serving as a Senior Long Term Planning Engineer at Metals X Limited since February 2017, Farid has previously held positions as Senior Planning Engineer, Mining Engineer, and Planning Engineer at other leading companies, including Norton Gold Fields Limited, AMC Consultants, MMG Limited, OZ Minerals, and Oxiana. Farid's career began with a focus on ventilation engineering, along with significant underground experience. Farid holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Curtin University, obtained in 2006.
