Simon Hillyard

Simon Hillyard is an experienced mining professional with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology from the University of Birmingham. Currently serving as Mine Manager at Saracen Gold Mines Pty Ltd since July 2016, Simon has also held the position of Manager - Open Pits at Metals X Limited since November 2014. Previous roles include Principal Engineer - Projects and Project Manager at St Barbara Limited, Mine Manager at Minjar Gold, and various positions at Consolidated Minerals and Uruguay Mineral Exploration. Simon's early career featured a role as Registered Mine Manager at Croesus Mining NL from 2001 to 2005.
