Vincent Harris

Chief Executive Officer & Chairman of the Board of Directrors at Metamagnetics

Vincent Harris has held various positions throughout their work experience. In 2008, they founded Metamagnetics, Inc. and served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Currently, their role at the company is ongoing. In 2020, Vincent joined the U.S. Department of State as a Jefferson Science Fellow, and their tenure there is still ongoing. Additionally, they have held positions at Northeastern University, starting in 2003. Vincent was a W.L. Smith Chair Professor until September 2011 when they became a University Distinguished Professor. Their role at the university is also ongoing.

Vincent Harris obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in 1985. Vincent also pursued further education at Northeastern University, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they earned a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Maryland and another Master's degree in Exec. Technology Management from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. The specific start and end years for the latter degrees are not provided.
