Yury Emelyanov

Yury Emelyanov is a seasoned professional in engineering and technology leadership, currently serving as Director of Engineering at metaphacts GmbH since July 2019. Prior to this role, Yury was the Chief Executive Officer at VISmart from October 2011 to August 2022 and provided advisory services at PaleBlue between September 2016 and July 2019. Yury's early career at the Research & Engineering Center of Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University included positions as Department Head, overseeing a 16-person team and managing departmental budgets and projects, as well as Team Lead, where project management and software development were key responsibilities. Yury also gained experience as a Senior Java Developer and Software Architect, focusing on distributed workflow systems for the Federal Customs Service of Russia, and started as a PHP Developer at HyperMethod.
