Aurimas Bachanovicius

Aurimas Bachanovicius has a range of experience working in web development and software engineering roles. Aurimas began their career as a Consultant with decahost.com in 2014 before moving on to Siuskis.net, where they worked as a Web Developer from 2014 to 2015. At Siuskis.net, they were involved in migrating from Yii1 to Yii2 framework, as well as conducting back-end and front-end programming tasks.

In 2015, Bachanovicius worked as a Web Developer for karkasiniu-namu-statyba.lt, where they created and maintained a website using WordPress. Aurimas also performed SEO and design changes for the site. Later that year, they worked as a Web Developer at cantitul.lt, where they focused on front-end development using Bootstrap JS/CSS library and created an auction platform.

In 2015 and 2016, Bachanovicius worked as a Web Developer at VŠĮ Startuok. During this time, they built a website from scratch using Laravel 5 framework, integrating third-party APIs and payment systems.

From 2016 to 2017, Bachanovicius founded their own freelance company, MB Baltiijos Vizija, where they communicated with clients and took on various freelance jobs. Aurimas developed skills in Angular2, Node.js, and other JavaScript frameworks, as well as Laravel 5 and Restful API.

Since 2017, Bachanovicius has been working at Metasite as a Software Engineer. Aurimas started as a Junior Software Engineer, focusing on building websites with Drupal, WordPress, and Symfony frameworks. Aurimas then progressed to the role of a Software Engineer, where they created scalable applications and gained experience in DevOps technologies and practices such as Kubernetes, Helm, AWS, Microsoft Azure, MariaDB, Ingress Routing, Traefik, Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic Search.

Currently, Bachanovicius holds the position of a Senior Software Engineer at Metasite, utilizing their technical expertise to contribute to the development of the company's software projects.

Aurimas Bachanovicius started their education at Vilniaus Šviesos gimnazija in 2005 and completed their secondary education there in 2014. Aurimas then went on to study at Vilniaus "Minties" gimnazija from 2014 to 2017, where they received their secondary education in General Studies.
