Hussain Hassam

Hussain Hassam is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Backend Software Engineering Lead at Metaspectral since October 2021, Hussain previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer. As a Co-Founder of WhiteRabbitNeo from January to April 2024, the company was acquired by Kindo.ai shortly after its inception. Hussain's earlier roles include Software Engineer at Hatfield Consultants, Junior Developer at McElhanney, and Technical Systems Analyst Co-op at RBC, where contributions included creating production-level REST APIs and optimizing application performance. Hussain's foundational experience includes developing an internal notification system during a co-op at Hatfield Consultants. Hussain holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Simon Fraser University, completed in 2018.
