Parisa Asgharzadeh

Parisa Asgharzadeh currently serves as the Vancouver City Lead for Women in AI since 2024 and holds the position of Senior Deep Learning Scientist at Metaspectral since July 2022. Previously, Parisa worked as a Data Scientist at Clarius Mobile Health from February 2020 to November 2022 and as a Machine Learning Engineer at the University of British Columbia's Electrical and Computer Engineering department from September 2017 to February 2020. Parisa's early career includes an internship at the University of British Columbia in 2016 and leadership roles as Team Lead for both the Sun of Saba Rescue Robot Team and the Saina Robotic Team from 2010 to 2016. Parisa obtained a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia (2017-2020) and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology (2013-2017). Additional educational qualifications include a Diploma in Mathematics from the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (Sampad) (2009-2013).
