Michael Zhang

Michael Zhang has an extensive work history, starting in 1996 as a Consultant for the Ministry of Commerce in China. Michael then worked as an Associate Consultant for Ascend World Wide LLC. from 2002 to 2003. In 2004, they founded lunch2me.com and served as CEO until 2007. From 2007 to 2008, they held the position of General Manager of U.S Operation and VP of Marketing for VestGame Entertainment Inc., where they published Asian online games in the U.S. Michael also held the same position at Thsale.com during the same time period and successfully doubled the sales revenue. In 2008, they co-founded Ray Flame Entertainment Inc. and served as CEO until 2010, focusing on online game publishing. From 2011 to 2014, they had various leadership roles including President (Overseas), CEO (U.S. Branch), and Executive Vice President (Overseas) at ZQGame, a public listed gaming company in China. In 2015, they founded Firefly Games and currently serves as Founder and CEO. Furthermore, in 2022, they founded MetaWorld Entertainment Inc. and holds the position of Founder and CEO.

Michael Zhang obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Beijing Information Technology Institute in 1996. Michael then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Korean Study, with a focus on Business Management, from Korea University between 1997 and 1999. Finally, they completed a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge between 2000 and 2002.
