Gavin Done

Gavin Done has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Gavin began their career at Metcash in 2012, starting as a Human Resources Administrator and later progressing to the role of Human Resources Officer/Advisor. In this role, they provided HR support and guidance to various corporate business units, advising on HR policy, employee relations, talent management, performance and succession planning, culture and engagement, remuneration, and organizational design.

Gavin then took on the role of Senior Human Resources Advisor before becoming the People & Culture Manager at Metcash. Gavin later transitioned to the position of People & Culture Partner - Projects and contributed to various HR projects within the company.

In 2018, Gavin joined Kmart Australia Limited as the State People & Capability Manager for NSW/ACT, where they oversaw HR and capability initiatives for the region.

Gavin returned to Metcash in 2020 as the Senior Manager - People & Culture Operations, leading the operations of the people and culture function. Gavin then took on the role of Head of People Advisory, where they provided strategic guidance and support to the organization. Most recently, they have been appointed as the Head of People Advisory, Data & Analytics, leveraging data and analytics to drive people strategies at Metcash.

Gavin Done obtained a Bachelor of Business degree in Human Resources from the University of New England (AU) from the years 2008 to 2011.
