Cristian Marti

Cristian Marti has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Cristian is the Founder of Methinks since September 2016, where they use software to analyze medical images and aid in decision-making for treatments in acute settings. Cristian has expertise in artificial intelligence and deep learning, specifically utilizing a software tool called Monai on CT scans.

Prior to that, from September 2015 to September 2016, Cristian served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG).

Before joining CRG, Cristian worked as the General Manager of Software Engineering at TomTom Telematics from August 2013 to August 2015.

Cristian'sexperience also includes being the CEO and Founder of COORDINA, a TomTom Company, where they established an internet marketplace for freight transportation in 2000. Cristian successfully transitioned the business model to focus on Fleet Management solutions, operating on a subscription basis via a web browser. Cristian led COORDINA until August 2013.

Early in their career, Cristian worked as an Asistente a Direccion at adbraintage in 1999 before making their mark in the technology and entrepreneurial field.

Cristian Marti completed their education in a chronological order, starting with their undergraduate degree. From 1990 to 1995, they attended the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Following this, they joined the IESE Business School from 1996 to 1998 to obtain their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Concurrently in 1997, they also attended Columbia Business School for a one-year MBA program focused on Business.
