Sunshine Maxwell, RN, BSN, CPEN has extensive experience in healthcare leadership positions. Earlier in their career, they worked at Acute Kids Urgent Care as a Director of Nursing, Clinical Educator, Nurse Manager, and Staff Registered Nurse. Sunshine began their career as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse at HCA's Medical City. Sunshine Maxwell, RN, BSN, CPEN, completed their education at Western Governors University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Collin College from 2001 to 2006 and obtained an Associate's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Sunshine also holds additional certifications including CPEN - Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse from the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing, and they are an Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course Instructor certified by the Emergency Nurses Association.
