Robert Nel is a seasoned professional in private equity and project development, currently serving as Principal at Metier since January 2019. Prior to this role, Robert held positions as a Private Equity Associate and Project Leader at Afriwise, and as a Consultant at Bain & Company. Robert’s significant experience includes advising Sasol Mining on the Ixia Coal BEE Transaction and consulting for the South African government on standardized power purchase agreements. Robert's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Laws from Stellenbosch University, along with a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
