Fred van Rooijen

Fred van Rooijen is an experienced program and project manager with a strong background in IT integration and infrastructure management. Currently serving as a Programma Manager at NS since August 2020, Fred is focused on expanding the ERTMS simulator park. Over the years, Fred has held multiple managerial roles at various organizations, including Metis Network and Van Rooijen Interim Management, while also contributing to international projects at Archer Daniels Midland Company. With a robust track record at Nederlandse Spoorwegen, Belastingdienst, and ProRail, Fred possesses significant expertise in overseeing IT migration projects and implementing IT management processes. Educational qualifications include degrees from Delft University of Technology, TU Delft - TopTech, and the Academie voor Management at the University of Groningen.
