Nobuyuki Shibata

Nobuyuki Shibata currently serves as the Head of Information Security Group and Assistant Vice President at MetLife since March 2020, overseeing a diverse team focused on Cyber Security, IT Risk Governance, Access & Security Advisory, and Third Party Risk Management. Prior to this role, Nobuyuki Shibata held positions at J.P. Morgan as Vice President, where leadership in cybersecurity advocacy and IT risk management was demonstrated, and contributed to establishing the Japan Technology Controls team. Experience also includes a director position at BlackRock, roles in IT governance at Nomura Securities, and managerial positions at Morgan Stanley, Hartford Life, and Gateway Computer, alongside early career roles in client support and systems integration. Nobuyuki Shibata holds a Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Media from Wakkanai Hokusei Gakuen University.
