Suzy C.

Suzy C. has had an extensive and varied work experience. Suzy started their career as a News Anchor and Journalist at Prime News and Sky News NZ. Later, they worked as a Corporate Affairs Manager at Coca-Cola Amatil, where they were responsible for reputation enhancement, government relations, and internal/external communications. Suzy then joined Fletcher Building as a Corporate Affairs Manager, overseeing strategic direction, stakeholder relations, and crisis communications. Following that, they served as the General Manager of Corporate Communications for IAG NZ and also held the role of Head of Employee Communications. Suzy C. then joined Anthem as an Executive Director, providing strategic counsel and managing client communications programmes. Suzy later worked at Bupa as the Head of Corporate Affairs and Head of Customer Engagement and Public Affairs. Currently, Suzy C. is employed as the Head Of Communications at Metlifecare.

Suzy C. has a diverse education history. In 1986, they enrolled in Auckland Technical Institute (ATI) and completed a two-year diploma program in Physiotherapy in 1988. Moving forward to 2002, they attended Birmingham City University for a brief period and obtained a Post Graduate degree in Broadcast Journalism. In addition to their formal education, Suzy has also acquired additional certifications. In November 2020, they obtained a certification in Preventing Dementia from the Wicking Dementia Research & Education Centre. Prior to that, in September 2020, they achieved a certification in Understanding Dementia, also from the Wicking Dementia Research & Education Centre.
