Jonathan Male

Jonathan Male has been working in the software industry since 2021, when they began their role as a Back End Developer at Metopio. In 2021, they also took on the role of Software Developer at Coding Temple, where they utilized languages such as JavaScript, Python, R, SQL, HTML5/CSS3 and frameworks such as React, Flask, and Django. Jonathan also reformatted existing code to increase efficiency and reduced memory expense, created, deployed, and maintained E-Commerce websites using Stripe to process payments with authentication and authorizations, and modeled data into BI visualizations in Tableau and Python packages to find markets for growth. Prior to this, they were the Operations Manager at Dollop Coffee Co from 2017-2021, where they developed and implemented new inventory systems to improve product management and reduce loss, negotiated pricing on products and launched new products into local market, and facilitated new revenue streams through partnerships with businesses and community outreach. From 2015-2017, they were a Program Assistant and Discovery Squad at The Field Museum. From 2011-2015, they were a Trainer/Administrative Asst. at J. Alexander's Restaurants, where they tracked, reviewed, and corrected payroll, as well as created and dispersed reports, and trained new staff to best industry standards.

Jonathan Male holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theirtory from Xavier University. Jonathan also has obtained certifications from LinkedIn ("Learning Cloud Computing: Core Concepts") in July 2021, Google Ads ("Advanced Google Analytics"), and is currently pursuing a certification from DePaul University ("Predictive Analytics").
