Ado Umezawa

With over two decades of technical sales and marketing experience, including 11 years in the highly specialized Superconductor industry, Ado brings a unique breadth of industry knowledge and creative insight to his position leading the business development function of MetOx.

Deep scientific research in superconductivity and magnetism at both the Materials Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory and the Applied Superconductivity Center in the University of Wisconsin round out Ado’s PhD and Post Doctorate Fellow in Experimental Solid State Physics. His direct work experience includes several years with Quantum Design and American Superconductor in the commercialization and marketing of high technology products relating specifically to superconductivity. In 2016 Ado joined MetOx, where he is focused on bringing MetOx YBCO HTS wire to technology and OEM manufacturers worldwide.
