Steve Westphal

Steve Westphal is a seasoned aviation and operations professional with extensive experience in the Department of Defense and Special Operations arenas. Currently serving as Senior Aviation Program Manager at Metrea Special Aerospace since February 2021, Steve has previously held roles such as Program Manager and SOF Aviation Subject Matter Expert at Special Applications Group since June 2016, and Senior Consultant and Program Manager during independent consulting from July 2014 to May 2016. With a notable career encompassing senior operations planning at USSOCOM from July 2009 to June 2014 and high-level positions at US Central Command in various capacities, Steve's expertise spans joint and interagency operations, policy analysis, and crisis action planning. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Miami, among other military and academic qualifications.
