Tom Smith

Tom Smith is a seasoned software developer with significant experience in leadership roles, currently serving as the Lead Software Developer and Head of Research at Metricell since August 2020, where Tom leads the development of the SmartVision product. Previously, Tom held multiple positions at R J Power Group, advancing from Software Developer to Research Lead, and has experience in IT support and engineering roles across various companies, including Balfour Beatty Living Places and Barminco. Tom's educational background includes a Master's degree in 5G Wireless Communications and Intelligent Embedded Systems from the University of Sussex, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Exeter and a National Diploma in Engineering from Chichester College.
