Shamik Ghosh

Shamik Ghosh has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Currently, they are an Executive Director and a member of the Global ExCo at Allen & Overy Consulting, where they focus on regulatory, governance, and risk & control strategy for financial services. Shamik also serves as a member of the Advisory Group at NHS Blood and Transplant.

Shamik previously worked as a Director at Metrikus, a proptech company specializing in IoT and smart building solutions. Shamik also held non-executive positions, including being a member of the governing body at a local authority maintained primary school and serving as the Chair of the Ward Panel on Crime at the Metropolitan Police.

Additionally, Shamik has experience in the financial industry, having worked as a Consultant at Crédit Agricole CIB and as a Consultant and Senior Advisor at various companies such as BearingPoint and KPMG. Shamik provided expertise in areas such as front office trader controls, COO/business management, transformation and strategy, risk and regulatory strategy, and business process mining/mapping.

Shamik Ghosh began their education at the University of Mumbai from 1999 to 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics. Later, in 2010 to 2011, they attended the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and the University of Oxford, where they earned an MBA degree, with a focus on Finance.
