Sr. Director, Cleantech Ecosystem Expansion at Metro Atlanta Chamber

Cynthia Curry has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cynthia began their career at MATRIX Resources as an IT Recruiter, performing full life cycle technical recruiting. Cynthia then founded and created SugarPot, where they served as Founder/Creator. Cynthia later joined Visionaire Partners as an Account Manager/IT Recruiter/IT Placement Specialist, working with clients of various sizes and assisting candidates in all areas of IT. Cynthia then joined eHire as the Director of Engagement, with varied and awesome roles. Cynthia's most recent work experience includes serving at the Metro Atlanta Chamber, where they held several senior director roles, including Senior Director of Cleantech Ecosystem Expansion, Senior Director of Smart Cities & Cleantech Ecosystems, and Director of Smart Cities Ecosystem Expansion. Cynthia has also been involved in volunteer work, chairing IoT Programming and Sponsorship at Mobility Live events. Cynthia has a passion for fostering innovation, building partnerships, and creating sustainable and equitable communities that leverage technology for good.

Cynthia Curry attended Georgia State University from 1992 to 1994, where they pursued a degree in Journalism with a field of study in Journalism and Philosophy. Prior to that, they studied Journalism and Philosophy at The University of Georgia from 1989 to 1992. In addition to their education, Cynthia has obtained various certifications related to diversity, inclusion, and harassment prevention from institutions such as Traliant and LinkedIn, starting from 2020 to 2023.
